S-Logic® natural surround sound - natural 3-dimensional sound experience
S-Logic ® Plus comes directly from the developed innovations developed for high-end headphones. This sophisticated new technology combines precision damping with micro acoustic amplification, allowing for optimal additions to drivers and spatial parameters. Thus, the acoustically redesigned design of the new models and their fine-tuning result in the most sophisticated sound perception with a more realistic perception of sounds and instruments.
How does S-Logic® Natural Surround Sound work?
A person uses the outer ear and earcups to understand three-dimensional space, to determine the direction and distance of sound. Instead of directly receiving musical information into the inner ear, S-Logic® signals are reflected from the outer ear in different directions before entering the auditory canal to create a natural three-dimensional sound. S-Logic® is the only headphone system that incorporates the natural hearing sensation method. S-Logic® enhances the joy of listening to music. S-Logic® does not require artificial echo, digital sound processing. S-Logic® not only creates natural surround sound, but also allows you to reduce the sound pressure level of the sound carrier by up to 40% (3-4 dB) on the eardrum. This reduces the risk of hearing loss while ensuring fatigue-free listening.
The special technology of ULTRASONE ULE (Ultra Low Emission)
These headphone drivers create a low-frequency magnetic field when you convert an electrical signal into an acoustic signal that we hear in the form of music. ULTRASONE has developed a special MU metal shield called ULE (Ultra Low Emissions) to reduce this radiation by up to 98% compared to conventional headphones. This technology passed the test of the international review. ULTRASONE originally developed ULE technology for professionals, as they spend half their lives in headphones. As consumer demand grew, ULE health technology has been included in all Ultrasone products.

Edition EX - synonymous with top quality
The modern exterior covers cutting-edge technology, as it is the first medium-sized headphone with S-LogicEX surround sound. The implementation of this principle was inspired by the design of the natural surround sound of the speakers. With decentralized speaker positioning, we can detect the sound characteristic of speakers within a few centimeters. With this technology, the sound is natural, digitally colourless even without the need for an external D/A converter.
The Ultrasone Edition 8 EX focuses attention on the stunning details of the headphones. The outer cover of the housing has received a chrome-colored PVD (made by physical evaporation) coating. This coating is known for its high gloss and durability. The outer ear cups are equipped with ceramic inserts and engraved logos.
The Ultrasone Edition 8 EX headphones and the inner ear cup of the headband are made of very soft, genuine dark gray Ethiopian sheepskin. This leather also provides a high degree of natural noise insulation.
Precision high-tech
The solid aluminum headband of the Ultrasone Edition 8 EX headphones is highly advanced and precise; it is specially designed for edition 8 EX headphones. The headband is covered with very soft, genuine sheepskin. The ear cushions are held in place by four strong magnets and can be easily removed with a slight pressure.
This headphones feature ULTRASONE S-Logic ® EX technology, the titanium-coated MYLAR drive delivers a wide frequency range and ample bass and clear sound. Mu-metal shielding technology of ULE (Ultra Low Emission) reduces magnetic radiation by 98%. The connection between the player and the headphones is provided by high-quality OFC cables with LEMO connectors.
