- THE HANDCRAFTED MASTERPIECE
The new housing of the OV800 has been designed to be more ergonomic, based on user feedback so far. They can produce up to 2 units per day, as all OV800s are made by the main craftsman in Orivet. Each OV800 housing is made using the same process as creating a custom ear monitor - finely machined, polarized and shipped to the customer.
-EXCLUSIVE 8 DRIVERS
The 8 BA driver used in OV800 consists of 3-way in Base BA x2, Mid BA x4 and High BA x2.
Of these, the Bass BA's are from Knowles, and the Mid BA and High BA are our own drive, as there was no ready-made drive that we wanted. So we designed it ourselves.
The drivers were selected, designed and screened for the best sound, and play the ultra-low, mid and high notes perfectly.
-PRECISE CROSSOVER NETWORK
8 drivers are also connected to a finely micro-engineered crossover network that complements the sound that Oriveti is pursuing.
-HALF-OPEN PORT
The semi-open aperture in the front panel removes pressure within the enclosure without compromising sound isolation, improving durability and wearability, and creating a natural open sound sensation in the voice.
-DIFFUSER WAVE GUIDE
The convex-ended metal nozzle is designed to act as a waveguide, so the sound from the small 3-passenger bore creates a radiation pattern close to the sound emitting array. The nozzle is made of aero grade aluminium.
-AZLA SednaEarfit™ Xelastec
AZLA's new Xelastec earphones offer a comfortable fit as a custom earphone with an automatic fitting system that changes shape with the user's body temperature. Its shape also fits well with the OV800 Diffuser Wave Guide to maximise sound performance.
-NEW 8-WIRE BRAIDED SPC CABLE
The Oriveti 8 Wires silver-plated copper-based cable is made from high-quality, low-impedance materials to ensure no loss through the cable, thereby increasing audio transmission performance. We used a new 0.78 mm 2-pin connector, which is more durable and versatile than MMCX.
