Released in late 2020, the SRM-700T is a hybrid electrostatic headphone driver that combines solid-state and vacuum tube technologies for exceptional audio performance. Drawing inspiration from the flagship SRM-T8000, it features a custom-made low-noise dual FET in the driver stage and a high slew-rate 6SN7 vacuum tube in the output stage, providing a warm, spacious sound. The SRM-700T delivers precise, detailed audio with a touch of tube warmth. It includes advanced features such as non-inductive winding resistors, high-definition film capacitors, hand-selected FETs, and EMI-shielded volume control. Additional functionalities include switchable RCA and XLR inputs, RCA parallel out, and newly developed large-sized aluminium insulators with enhanced vibration resistance.
