These have always been our core values since N.C. Madsen decided to give up his job and dedicate his life to his true vocation: speaker technology. He had decided all this decades earlier, in 1933, in a tiny Danish village.

Preferred supplier

Vifa soon became a popular supplier to many well-known brands and has maintained this position until today. Reproducing the best possible sound depends on orchestration, which is determined by complex settings of several technical components simultaneously. This knowledge and experience is passed down through generations of Vifa engineers. This is complemented by a legendary, uncompromising commitment to quality.

However, premium sound also requires a high-end look. That's why Vifa introduced a uniquely new and exciting range of wireless, portable speakers in 2014. This is based on the extraordinary and proud heritage and expertise of Vifa's sound engineers. This is how we maintain the commitment of our founders: we constantly strive for authentic sound.

Traditional Scandinavian Design

Scandinavian design is manifested in clean, natural lines, nobly simple and courageous use of materials. Opposites reinforce each other and create harmony. Both materials and colours radiate pure and mature elegance; the stable, carefully machined aluminium frame, Kvadrat's specially designed wool cover, the manufacturer's signature: the embossed logo and embroidered surface. They subtly complement the look of Vifa's speakers.

Premium materials

Vifa's speakers are based on a one-piece and carefully machined aluminium frame moulded from special materials and technology. This gives Vifa's premium drives the stability they need. The collaboration with Kvadrat, one of Europe's leading textile manufacturers, is an important element in the look, feel and even sound of Vifa speakers. The specially woven textile gives all five models a warm and homely feel without compromising on sound. The overall effect is crowned by a plant-tanned, genuine leather strap, contrasting with its exciting appearance.

Lifelike sound

The sound reproduction that most closely resembles the original sound is the music itself, from which nothing is taken away or added. Reproducing lifelike sound is like a band collaborating. We have to almost artistically combine the finest components, such as our custom-developed drives and other components of our technology. However, only human talent, decades of experience, commitment to music and an uncompromising attitude can create such a lifelike sound.

Three-way, six-speaker stereo design with 6 digital amplifiers and 4 passive radiators.

Drivers

• Tweeter: 2x28mm vifa die-cast basket softdome speaker with neodymium magnet
• Midrange speaker: 2x50mm vifa die-cast cage aluminum speaker with neodymium magnet
• Subwoofer: 2x50mm flat sandwich structure radiator with neodymium magnet, Force Balanced arrangement and 4 passive radiators.

Force compensation arrangement

A system based on Newton's third law (effect-counteraction), which ensures that vibrations generated by speakers are fully translated into sound and not into chassis vibration. This allows you to deliver music with greater efficiency and sound pressure, while significantly reducing distortion.

Amplifier

Speaker units are powered by stand-alone Texas Instruments PurePath ™ digital amplifier modules connected directly to the speakers. (4 pcs)

• Vifa Home: wireless network via internet connection via mobile phone/tablet to control multi-speaker or multi-room system (MultiRoom).
• Play music from your own mobile device, computer, internet music provider, external attached storage, NAS server.
• Bluetooth: Play music content from your device using Bluetooth aptX HD.
• Connect an external device (MP3 player, mobile phone, computer) using a 3.5mm jack cable. Connect an external device (Portable high-definition player, desktop player, optical saved TV, set-top box, media player) using an optical digital cable.
• USB drive: Connect USB flash drive or external 2.5" HDD/SSD with 5V 2.1A power supply. Connecting an external 3.5" HDD with its own power supply
• Vifa Play: Use the vifa Play button to listen to 3 pre-programmed radio stations without using a smart device or your own remote.
• Vifa Link: dedicated button to connect several vifa speakers.
