The EH3 is Shanling's highly versatile DAC (digital-to-analogue converter), which can be used as a fully balanced headphone amplifier and as a streamer. The EH3 uses an ES9039PRO 8-channel DAC chip in an amplification system based on four OPA1612s, and thanks to its Wifi connectivity, it offers the possibility to play high-resolution audio files directly from AirPlay, a local server or DLNA application. Alternatively, it can also provide a great listening experience with Bluetooth 5 connection in LDAC resolution or via the USB input.
The EH3 has been designed in conjunction with the ET3 CD transport, which together can meet the most demanding CD and MQA CD listening needs via I2S connection.
