LOTOO PAW 6000
Premium portable lossless music player
The new player retains many of the key design features of the PAW Gold Touch. Including 3.77" 400 x 800 IPS capacitive touchscreen LCD panel. Aside from the new swivel volume control and smaller size, as well as the easy to mix with each other.
DAC CHIP
The DAC in the PAW 6000 is a single AKM AK4493EQ, it is the same DAC chipset used by FiiO in the M11. Decoding is compatible with DSD256 and PCM384kHz up to 32BIT.
PERFORMANCE
Such as with the PAW Gold Touch, Lotoo decided not to distinguish between the power of the amplifier stage output. Both outputs were fitted to 300 mW for a load of 32Ω. The 6000 OPA1622 amplifier stage comes from the PAW Touch. In the PAW Touch, it was a dedicated, balanced amplifier circuit with an LME49600 for the 3.5mm output. The output of the Touch was 0.5 W mounted to 32Ω. Thus, Lotoo basically divides OPA1622 between its balanced and conventional outputs.
INPUTS AND OUTPUTS
The player has split headphone and line-level outputs for both 3.5mm and 4.4mm Pentaconn outputs. It also has a parametric tone control, although unlike their previous DAPs, the 6000 does not have a built-in hardware DSP. The battery capacity is 5200mAh, and is guaranteed to last 16 hours, according to Lotoo's specification.
MULTI-DIRECTIONAL BLUETOOTH
For wireless connectivity, the PAW 6000 supports Bluetooth 4.2, which is standard for all portable players. It has a two-way Bluetooth connection, it acts as both a transmitter and a receiver. The term "bidirectional" simply means that the Paw 6000 can be used as a transmitter and receiver. In transmitter mode, you can connect your wireless headphones to the Paw 6000. On the other hand, in receiver mode, you can connect your phone to the Paw 6000 and use streaming services on your phone. The Paw 6000 in this case will act as a Bluetooth DAC. This perfectly solves the paw 6000's non-existent streaming capability.
Supported codecs are SBC, AAC, AptX, and LDAC. The codec that can be decoded via LDAC is 24bit / 96kHz.
USB-DAC MODE
In addition to Bluetooth streaming, the PAW 6000 can also be used as a USB DAC on a computer or phone. You can choose to have the connected device power DAP or DAP use its own power source.
PMEQ AND ATE
The PMEQ setting has a list of preset profiles for you to choose from. If you want a personalized setting, you can also create a profile. PMEQ allows you to create a profile in the 5-band equalizer. The rotating volume dial has become slimmer compared to its predecessors. This allowed the protective cover to run in line with the frame. Its back is tempered glass, as opposed to the aluminum back of the PAW Touch.
The Lotoo 6000 has a Wi-Fi connection, but no streaming service is supported. The main purpose of WiFi is to update the firmware via OTA. UpnP or DLNA are also not supported.
