The burn-in process helps to achieve the full potential of the player's sound by shaping the capacitors and stabilizing the electronic circuit's current.
The use of normal resolution music is recommended, as higher resolution will cause more heat to be generated due to the greater stress on the system. Normal volume is also advisable, as higher volume levels result in higher power consumption, which also generates heat. Both balanced and single-ended components are affected in the process.
Depending on the device, the burn-in time can be up to 300 hours in total, which does not need to be carried out in one go. The break-in can be performed under normal use, but with this cable, an earphone or a headphone can be spared from the burn-in process.
