The XM10 streamer and portable player sits at the top of the stack as a source device, offering PCM 32bit 768kHz DSD512 and MQA resolution. With a Snapdragon 665 CPU and an open Android 10 system, it's fast and flexible to personalise, with a 6" 2160x1080p resolution touchscreen and physical buttons like a smartphone. The 3350mAh battery offers a maximum battery life of 18 hours. Bluetooth 5 connectivity guarantees bi-directional LDAC codec support, the AK4493SEQ DAC and Ricore RT6863 chips contribute to a sufficiently detailed and powerful sound, and for precise signal processing, FPGA technology and KDS crystal oscillator are perfectly paired with the XP10 DAC unit, on top of which the X10 player can be mounted. The player is designed with a bi-directional USB Type-C input and a dedicated 3.5mm single-ended output, which can be converted to a balanced output using the manufacturer's own included 4.4mm adapter. The balanced output connection achieves a maximum power of 230mW @ 32 Ohms with only 0.0003% distortion. The player weighs 300g.
The XP10 DAC and headphone amplifier is positioned in the middle with its PCM 32bit 768kHz DSD512 and MQA resolution. It features an eight-channel ES9039PRO DAC chip, XMOS XU316 USB chip, OPA2211 filter for low noise, 256-step volume control and high-speed custom I/V conversion for Onix's legendary 'Brighton' sound. Ingenic's X2000 system can be navigated via a 3.18" display and remote control is possible via Shanling's free downloadable Eddict Player app. With RCA, Bluetooth 5 (LDAC), USB, optical, COAX, XM10 dock inputs and RCA, XLR, optical, COAX SPDIF outputs. For headphone amplification, 3.5mm SE, 6.35mm SE and 4.4mm BAL and XLR BAL outputs are available. With the balanced headphone output connection, a maximum power of up to 5600mW @ 32 Ohms can be achieved, also with only 0.0003% distortion. The DAC/AMP weighs 1400g.
The XPS10 linear power supply is the base of the stack, which is designed with two 30W NORATEL toroidal transformers, a switchable 12V-24V output voltage switch and handles 100-110V/220-230V input voltage depending on the region of use. The unit features a 1.9" display indicating the current voltage setting. The power supply weighs 2500g.
