Desktop CD Player Mechanism
The ET3 is the high-quality, more focused member of Shanling's top-loading CD player series, which can be perfectly paired with High-End DAC (digital-analog converter) devices as a dedicated CD mechanism. To play the ET3, it is necessary to have a DAC as part of the system. The heart of the mechanism is powered by several high-performance components, such as the dual-core Ingenic X2000 chip responsible for low latency, the CT7302CL chip for DSD and PCM upscaling, and the Philips SAA7824 servo and SANYO HD850 CD drive, ensuring stable playback. In addition to the USB-A input and output, the ET3 offers I2S, AES/EBU, Optical, and COAX outputs, as well as Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity supporting aptX, aptX HD, and LDAC codecs. The dual-band WiFi supports DLNA and AirPlay protocols, and the free Eddict Player app helps with remote music control and streaming. The ET3 shares the same size as the EH3 DAC and headphone amplifier, and is equipped with a 320x290 pixel resolution IPS LCD display. The aluminum chassis player has a removable cover made of tempered darkened glass. The package includes a power cable and a remote control.
The ET3 was designed together with the EH3 DAC and headphone amplifier, which together, through I2S connection, meet the highest CD and MQA-CD listening demands.
