SMSL M300 MK2 - Desktop DAC with Bluetooth connection

AK4497 DAC and high-end components
The M300 is equipped with AKM's AK4497EQ high-end DAC chip. The latter supports a high sampling rate, in PCM up to 32bit 768kHz and in DSD up to DSD512. In addition, the chip uses its own Velvet Sound architecture, which allows it to provide high SNR (128dB) and very low distortions (THD + N -116dB) for neutral and accurate reproduction.
This chip is combined with a number of quality components, such as a second-generation XMOS USB interface, two extremely low-phase Japanese GDR clock generators that significantly limit jitter between 44.1kHz/48kHz and multiple frequencies, and finally a series of audiophile-rated resistors and capacitors.
Design, screen and connectivity
All parts are integrated into a CNC-machined aluminum housing, both robust and allowing you to limit interference that can degrade the audio signal. The front panel is covered with a tempered glass plate and a 1.54 " IPS screen, which allows you to display all the information related to reading files (input, filter, sample rate, reading format ...) . Control is carried out simply by two buttons on the front panel, which allows you to turn the device on and off, select input, change the color of the display or select an audio filter.
The rear of the device has the 3.5mm jack, Micro USB (XMOS), and Bluetooth antenna connectors via the SPDIF Optical/Coaxial input. On the output side, the M300 offers a symmetric XLR or asymmetric RCA.
