The SA300 is a digital amplifier with micro USB input and Bluetooth transmission. Although compact in format, the SMSL SA300 amplifier delivers impressive 2 x 80W performance with 4 ohm impedance.
Infineon MA12070 amplifier chip
The SMSL SA300 uses the new German Infineon MA12070 amplifier chip. It is capable of powering 2 x 80 W below 4Ω and utilises a class D architecture that allows up to 92% high efficiency. This chip offers clean, accurate and rich reproduction.
Bluetooth transmission
Another strong point of the SMSL SA300 is Bluetooth transmission. It features a built-in Bluetooth chip that allows you to transmit music directly from your smartphone or any other transmitting device. The chip supports Bluetooth 5.0 and aptX transmission codes, allowing near CD quality signal transmission.
Connection
On the connectivity side, the SA300 is simple and efficient. It includes Bluetooth and analogue RCA stereo inputs, as well as a Micro USB input. On the output side, the amplifier offers speaker terminals and subwoofer output via an RCA connector. All connectors (except the Micro USB port) are gold plated for better conductivity and good oxidation resistance
Filters and equalisation
The amplifier includes 8 predefined filters to adapt the sound reproduction to your hearing and audio system. It is also possible to adjust the gain of the bass and treble.
Volume control
A knob on the front panel of the SA300 for adjusting the volume. It is directly connected to a JRC NJW1194 chip, which provides low noise and low distortion.
