The BXT module cannot be used on its own, it is an add-on developed for the THREE model to give the THREE model special additional capabilities. Digitally connected to the THREE system via patch cables, the BXT is essentially capable of increasing the bass extension while significantly reducing the distortion at 20Hz, with a lower cut-off frequency extended to 15Hz. When connected, the system switches to another software version and becomes a line source. This allows the stereo sound image to be perceived over a larger surface area, as in real life, rather than at a single point, Another important capability is that it makes the system insensitive to the material and reflectivity of the flooring. It includes 8 active woofers and DACs per unit, and a stereo pair with 4kW maximum added power can support the dynamics of the THREE system in larger rooms. (This product includes 1 BXT unit. For stereo Kii THREE BXT setup, 2 modules are necessary.)
