The SMSL DO300EX digital-to-analogue converter promises detailed and precise audio reproduction using an AKM AK4191 + AK4499EX DAC chip combo, 32bit 768kHz DSD512 resolution and MQA-CD decoding via an XMOS XU-316 USB interface chip. Bluetooth 5 wireless connectivity is provided by a QCC5125 chip, supporting aptX, aptX HD and LDAC codecs.
Headphone amplification is provided by a TPA6120A2 chip, with 1W @ 32 Ohms output via 4.4mm and 6.35mm outputs, sufficient to drive most Hi-Fi headphones.
