The ONIX Waltz XM10 Ltd is the brand's first standalone Android-based player. The original XM10 was introduced as the top element of the Miracle stack player system, and the Waltz version, with its flagship AKM DAC (digital-to-analog converter) chip, Android system, and slim yet robust stainless steel casing, outpaces similarly priced players on the market. The open Android 13 operating system is accompanied by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor, 6GB RAM, and 128GB ROM storage, which can be expanded with a MicroSD card (up to 2TB).

The XM10 Waltz, with its 11.5mm thickness reminiscent of smartphones and a 6” 2160x1080 Full HD touch display, is one of the thinnest audio players in our offering. The casing also features 6 physical buttons for easy music control. The combined 3.5mm SE jack can actually be used as a balanced 4.4mm output with a special adapter available separately. (Besides ONIX's own adapter, the Shanling M0 Pro Balanced adapter also works for this purpose.) The two-way Bluetooth 5.0 connection can transmit and receive signals even in LDAC quality. For wireless streaming, there's also compatibility with WiFi 2.4G/5G, DLNA, and AirPlay. The 4300 mAh battery can be charged via USB-C and provides up to 9 hours of operation time.

The XM10 Waltz is an outstandingly compact portable element of a high-resolution streaming center, and on its own, it is a worthy challenger to the highest-performing portable players. The player measures 158x77x11.5mm and weighs 338g.
