A WORTHY UPGRADE TO THE DX220:
The DX2x0 series is one of the most successful digital audio player series on the market. With great performance, high-quality DAC chips, interchangeable amplifier modules and many more features, they have revolutionized the way we listen to music. The DX240 is the successor to the highly acclaimed DX220 music player, with a better DAC, better SoC and overall better performance in terms of both user interface and sound.
A new flagship:
The iBasso DX240 is equipped with the flagship ES9038Pro DAC chip and supports the company's interchangeable amplifier modules. The package includes the AMP1 MK3 symmetrical module and will be compatible with modules from the previous AMP1 all the way up to AMP8.
The AMP1 MK3 module has an impressive output power of 878 mW @ 32 Ω and 128 mW @ 300 Ω, and features 2.5mm symmetrical (TRRS), 3.5mm traditional (TRS) and 3.5mm LO output interfaces.
New Snapdragon CPU:
The iBasso DX240 comes with a high-performance and efficient Snapdragon 660 SoC (System on a Chip) + 4 GB of RAM, which can run multiple applications smoothly without any lag compared to older RockChip implementations.
Proprietary FPGA Master technology:
iBasso has introduced its proprietary FPGA Master technology, which requests signals directly from the SoC. It is integrated with two independent NDK femtosecond crystal oscillators to maintain a stable signal with low jitter and high resolution.
Full 16x MQA decoding:
Master Quality Authenticated or MQA for short is a high-resolution compressed data format. MQA-certified devices properly decompress files to achieve higher audio performance than traditional music files such as MP3 or WAV. iBasso DX240 supports full MQA decompression up to 16x.
iBasso Dual OS:
iBasso has loaded the DX240 with two operating systems (OS), Andriod 9.0 and the in-house developed Mango OS, familiar from previous products. The open Android 9.0 OS provides flexibility such as downloadable third-party applications (APKs), while the Mango OS offers a pure music experience.
FHD display and aluminium alloy casing:
iBasso has equipped the DX240 with a 5-inch full HD 1080P display. The latest front-panel design features a precision-engineered aluminium alloy enclosure. The player features a curved glass back, just like the DX160.

The DX240 supports AMP1-AMP8 modules out of the box (All previously available for the DX220 series. Only AMP9 and newer modules designed specifically for the DX300 are not supported by the DX240.) iBasso includes the AMP1 MK3 module in the DX240.
