The Isvarna is a hybrid high-end model, in which HiFiMan's excellent planar and unique dynamic bass drivers create an outstanding harmony, eliminating phase differential effects.
The enclosed aluminium housing allows space for an outward-facing planar magnetic driver and an inward-facing 30x50mm oval sub driver and its air grille. The headphones have a sensitivity of 93dB between 6Hz and 60000Hz and an impedance of 16 Ohms, making them easy to drive with most desktop or portable amplifiers. Isvarna relies on the manufacturer's proven Nanometer-thick diaphragm and Stealth Magnets technology for interference-free listening. Its tone is most similar to that of the HE1000 headphones, but the driver design gives a stronger emphasis on rich lows without affecting the mids and highs.
With its Norwegian-inspired name the Isvarna refers to a product that draws the attention of the Hi-Fi market to a new, ground-breaking product. The headphones weigh 462g without the cable. The package includes a 1.5m (59") long 3.5mm, a 3m (118") 6.35mm and a 3m (118") XLR cable.
